Compliance Requirement Choices

Independent contractors are legally required to establish certain insurance coverage. Lease and owner/operators may establish their own coverage or participate in programs offered by RWI Transportation. Our requirements?

2002 or newer (2000/2001 depending on truck condition)
Must provide this year's Form 2290
Must provide copy of tractor title
Tractor must pass DOT inspection by our maintenance facility (at no charge to you).

RWI Driver Qualification Guidelines

To be a driver for RWI Transportation, you must meet the following criteria:

Must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Must have valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
Drivers MUST be at least 23 years old.
1st Seat MUST have a minimum of 1 year recent, verifiable OTR exp. with T/T.
2nd Seat MUST have at least 1 year of recent, verifiable OTR exp. with T/T.
No recent DUI, DWI, or drug convictions.
No reckless or careless driving in last 3 years.
No excessive speeding violations within the last 3 years. • No more than 2 moving violations within the last 12 months.
Must pass a DOT pre-lease physical and drug test.
